We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so, if you violate our Terms of Service, or if necessary to protect our rights or property. However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment processors and platform hosts, have their own privacy policies with respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
We use the following third-party providers to operate our Services. We recommend that you read their privacy policies to understand how these providers will handle your personal information.
Payment Processing: Purchases made through the School are processed by Teachable’s integrated payment system (teachable:pay). We use cookies to enhance your browsing experience and collect information about how visitors and students use our Services.
Website and School: We use cookies to enhance your browsing experience, keep you logged into your account, remember your preferences, and analyze how students use our courses. We may also use automated tracking methods on our website, in communications with you, and in our products and services, to measure performance and engagement.
Tools Hub: The Tools Hub uses a secure, httpOnly first-party session cookie (named mg_session) to maintain your authenticated session. If your access expires or is revoked and is not reinstated, your data may be retained for a reasonable period before deletion. Specifically, accounts whose access has been expired or revoked for more than 6 consecutive months are subject to permanent data deletion during routine database maintenance, without further notice. We are not obligated to retain your content indefinitely for inactive accounts. Redemption records, including the IP address recorded at the time of redemption, are retained for 24 months from the date of redemption, after which the IP address is removed while the remaining redemption record is kept for accounting and attribution purposes.
